Welcome to Shenanigans Miniature Pinschers. We at Shenanigans strive for happy, healthy, Miniature Pinschers with correct type and sound hackney like movement. Miniature Pinschers are friendly, outgoing with plenty of attitude, animation, self possession and a spirited presence truely making them "The King of The Toys". We fell in love with the breed in the year 2000 watching them ringside at the Hoosier Kennel Club Show in Indianapolis, Indiana. We'd never seen a breed of dog that took over a ring with their presence, antics and attitude as the Miniature Pinscher. They demand your attention when they are in the ring. After doing alot of book research on the breed and talking with several breeders we knew this was the breed for us. We purchased our first show girl in 2001.
Our kennel name became Shenanigans in 2002 with the arrival of Dukie's first litter. We had been looking for awhile for just the right name. One that best describes the Miniature Pinscher breed. Shenanigans is an Irish word meaning, trickster or mischiefmaker, our search was over!
Both my husband and myself have been involved with dogs in some capacity or another in the past. Paul being with breeding and field trialing Beagles and myself showing and breeding Afghan Hounds.

We are member of the Miniature Pinscher Club of America, Badgerland Miniature Pinscher Club and the Midwest Miniature Pinscher Club.
Feel free to browse our show records, pedigrees and short bios on each of our dogs. Occasionally we also have pet and show dogs available to approved homes.
